Haha I cant believe a singing competition got me so hyped up! I love.....'Immortal Song 2'!! Saranghae!!!
I wasn't expecting much from the show, but boy it blew me away.... I have to say, after watching just 1 episode (episode 4), Junsu, Hyomin, and GO (in descending order) are my favourites. My preference will surely change after a few more episodes, but right now... I'm rooting for JUNSU!! my baby... The last note was sick!! I love the smirk before he reached it... He truly is a BEAST! fighting oppa (okay got carried away)...
Back to reality.... From watching them perform, i realise that talent itself is not enough. In my opinion, to be a great performer and singer, you have to perfectly mix your abilities with experience. The show further proves how important experience is.... Take hyorin for example... sure she might have join numerous audition and small performance.. but how many big stages like this could she have possibly graced after only 1 year of debut. Her inexperience is obvious with her lack of crowd interaction, it was a pity, it could have brought her performance to the next level. Despite saying all that, she did brilliantly! The spot light was on her, her vocals were dead on... the expression from her eyes were captivating, the one piece white dress was cheeky but yet elegant. I would rate it a 8/10 performance.

Truth be told, i was pleasantly surprised with GO... the emotion he brought to the performance managed to actually shed tears from my eyes, it was the only performance to do so. What a splendid stage he put on. The song suited his vocal range very well, it gave him the space to play around with his falsetto (amazingly high for a guy). This performance might well have changed other's opinion of him as just an idol singer with no real vocal talent. I cant say for the rest, but he sure did change my mind about his singing (although i already know how great they were from the beginning). I cant wait to see what else he has in store for the show. I would rate this performance a 7.5/10.

His retake on the song was a masterpiece, until now as i type, it still amasses me how he managed to turn a 1992 pop song into a jazz song, then to a upbeat rock song, and lastly to a pop song with a modern twist, that was not the last trick he had up his sleeves, he even adds a dance routine to it. Simply amazing.
The introduction was so intelligently done.... I dont really know the technical term... but it just gives me the chills from listening. Being the 2PM member... he couldn't have forget a dance routine even if he tries to. Still with the demanding dance routine (okay not as demanding as their real comeback routines), he manages to keep his voice under control, no breathlessness that you often hear from other lead singers, kyah!!! His vocals were so steady! Towards the end, equipped with his years of experience with the crowd, he brought the crowd together with him by clapping to the beat. a nice scene to see, as none of the performers did so. Lastly, the last note.. omgosh... it freaking raised all my goose pimples..... listen for yourself. Wooh! i love it!
I will rate it a 9.3/10. In my opinion, he should have kept with the jazzy rock thing and not done the pop dancing thing, it sort of sounded strange, but that's just my humble opinion. One more thing i would have love him to sing the last note without the obvious hesitation show across his face. Although saying that.... i think the smirk of hesitation was CUTE! JUNSU! <3~~

Watching them embrace such a beautiful stage, makes me crave to be a performer. I know that it's impossible now.... I wish i had the proper training, and the right opportunity to cultivate my singing. Not to boast, but i think with the right training, i can sing like hyorin. oh well.... its all a distant dream now... i can only try my best and look towards the future.... :) nights everyone.... love ya'll! saranghae...^^
